Hearts folded – Hearts United. Fritz and Rose launches a heart project.
During the coronavirus crisis, we all have to press pause in many areas of our daily lives. Violence against women and children is not taking a break. On the contrary. While self-isolation protects us from a virus, the danger for victims of domestic violence is increasing. And it becomes invisible to outsiders.
We, Tric and Ursi, aka "Fritz and Rose", want to bring joy to people with our jewellery. We fold metal into pieces of jewellery by hand and with great passion - because that's what we do best. We've been thinking about how we can do more good with our jewellery for a while now. And we realise that it is more important than ever to start our with this special project.
As a universal symbol of love and solidarity, we are folding a beautiful silver heart, optionally gold-plated, which can be worn as a brooch, pin or necklace. We donate 25% of the proceeds to the organisation Frauen helfen Frauen Hamburg e.V.. Because women's refuges are currently more important than ever.
The donations are distributed to the various facilities of the organisation according to the amount raised. Our heart project is open-ended, we donate at regular intervals and will of course tell you about it. We have already been able to donate over €500 since May. The joy and gratitude is great on all sides and we are now all the more motivated to continue.
